    Interview with Abigail Edwards

    Interview with Abigail Edwards

Since 2014 Abigail's following on Instagram has grown beyond 1 million. We ask her about her unique fashion curation techniques.

If you could travel anywhere in the world for Spring Break, where would you go?

If I could travel anywhere for Spring Break, it would be Australia! I’ve always wanted to go. It looks beautiful.

Who do you look up to the most and why?

I look up to my mom the most. She has been a single mom raising me and my sister. She’s been through some pretty hard situations, and I don’t know how she has done it.

Cliché, but where do you see yourself in five years? Ready, set, go!

In five years, I see myself graduated, working as a medical device sales rep, living somewhere hot that has a beach, and maybe married in a cute little house.

What’s your most memorable moment at school?

One of the many memorable moments I’ve had at WVU was one night being the DD. I was driving, and it started raining. A group of about eight girls were walking downtown and were getting soaked. My friend and I yelled at them to jump in. Somehow they all squeezed in and we all sang (yelled)  “It Wasn’t Me” by Shaggy all the way downtown.

We sat down with our Coast Accessories team to chat about their current favorite purses, bags, and backpacks.

For some women – especially fashion conscious women – style is often more important than practicality. However, even when practicality is necessary, it certainly better be stylish.

That is why large travel & duffle bags are one of the spring/ summer 2016 bag trends. After all, when chic women go on summer vacation, they better have the space in their bags for all of their beauty and fashion must haves!

At Balenciaga, we saw a large variety of exceptional travel bags for summer 2016. Some were quite beautiful and loud, featuring a gorgeous floral print (another of the season’s print trends), while others were a solid one color.

At Gucci, we saw large, exotic flowers, in a striking symmetrical print. At Michael Kors, we saw some right proper purses, but made of a material that looked like woven straw.

Which of these awesome spring/ summer 2016 handbag trends do you like best? Comment and let us know!

    2019's Trends for Active Fashion

    2019's Trends for Active Fashion

Currently, there is a lot of evolution in the trends we are seeing with the fitness fashion scene. We'll help you hit the gym and look your best.

The Trend: Yoga plus boxing. Yoga plus hip-hop. Yoga plus…smells. If you haven’t tried a weird, fusion yoga class yet, you haven’t lived (we kid...kind of). While some studios keep the intensity moderately low, others turn the heat way up, so take solace in the fact that you have options—and will never be bored again.

The Essentials: Picking out clothes for these hybrid classes can be tricky for obvious reasons, which is why we think the ballerina approach to getting dressed is best. Leggings, bodysuits, second-skin tanks, and—OK, bear with us here—unitards will keep you moving gracefully in every which way.

The Trend: Whether you’re dropping into a meditation class, taking a leisurely nature walk, or indulging in a no-frills stretching session, 2017 is the year of letting some serious chill into your workout in order to foster a feeling of well-being on the inside too. Even if it’s technically your #restday anyway.

The Essentials: For barely-broke-a-sweat workouts, you want clothes that move with your body but don’t go overboard with technical details. Enter: Athleisure, a.k.a. cozy-cute sweats, supersoft tees, and of-the-moment kicks you could easily spend the whole day wearing.
